LCA v BED - SATURDAY APRIL 20th
A determined Bedouins side showing the kind of form that has eluded them all season put a dampener on Loughboros' unbeaton run with a 1-0 win in their last game of the season. Div 1 champions L'boro were beaten by a well disciplined Beds side The goal was scored after ten minutes but Beds held on to clinch the game despite strong and skilful attack from L'boro throughout the game.

CAMELS v BAGGIES -SATURDAY OCTOBER 5th
Both sides fought to keep the ball from hitting the back of their net, with a battle covering the whole of the St Margarets pitch. There were short corners for both teams with both Keepers pulling out heroic saves to keep their own team in the game. But it was the determination and staminer in the Camels that eventually won through with a goal being scored in the last 5 minuites of play. It was a hard fought game that was enjoyed by both teams and could have ended with a result in favour of either team in the end.

Leicester Hospitals V Bedouins - Saturday February 22nd
It was an unlucky Bedouins side that was defeated on the very cold Astra Turf pitch at Groby.  The end result of 4-2 to the lucky Hospitals side was not a true reflection of the determination that the Bedouins put into this game and they were very unlucky not to get at least a point from a very well fought game.  Both teams hit the post but Hospitals managed to scramble the ball over the line where as the spinning ball that came back off the post for Bedouins spun wide.  Although the result was against us this was a very good effort by both teams and a good game to watch.

Nomads V Camels.

1st March 2003

Plate Game

A 3rd division Bedouins Camels took on a 2nd division Nomads at the Guthlaxton astra turf pitch.  Camels put up a good fight and still managed to hold Nomads even when Nick Tolton (Centre Back) had to limp off the pitch, a quick rearrangement of positions by Camels did not deter their fighting spirit.  The Camels Keeper managed to keep Camels in with a fighting chance by making some excellent saves on his debut match for the club.  Camels almost made a come back when at 2-0 down Lisa Griffiths managed to net the ball, but unfortunately it was a goal that Beckham would have been more proud of, as it was a superb right foot flick into the top of the net.  Chris Hutton rose to the challenge of stepping into the centre backs shoes and with Dave Bates helping to clear up at the back Camels managed to keep the score line down to 3-0.  This was a superb effort by all of the Camels team with a real team effort and spirit shown by everyone.  A great game to play and watch.
